| Playground Wood Chips "More than 200,000 children are treated each year in U.S. hospital emergency rooms each year for injuries associated with playground equipment. Playground wood chips are one of the most effective means of providing protective surfacing around playground equipment, but you must maintain 9-12" depth for maximum protection (6-9" for toddler playgrounds). Texas Power Mulch utilizes a blower system to install playground wood chips (playground mulch) quickly and cleanly to virtually any location on your property. In most cases we are in and out in 1-2 hours, so kids don't miss their outdoor playtime. 1 yard of playground wood chips covers 324 sq ft (18'x18') to a depth of 1". Products meet ASTM Safety and Impact Guidelines. Playground Border We offer a 12" diameter Filtrexx Safety Soxx. It is a mesh tube filled with playground wood chips. It is soft and can be blown around the perimeter of a playground as a safe playground border to hold in playground wood chips.
